When comparing my blog on Firefox, Safari, & Chrome, I was shocked to identify such evident differences in display. I found it truly fascinating to observe how colors of the same hex code can appear so differently. It is mind boggling to comprehend how browsers can render the exact coding dissimilarly from one another. I chose to analyze Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, as my browsers of choice. The brightest colors appeared via. Safari, and the dullest appear on Chrome. The largest font appears on both Safati and Firefox. Firefox had the most lag time for me, personally. Firefox & Safari are quite similar, in contrast to Chrome. I also noticed that on Firefox & Safari, there are longer lines of text. With Chrome, it tends to cut lines after a few words, rather than a full line length of text.

Hello there! My name is Lauren Fitzpatrick and I am a Senior Interactive Digital Design Major- Sociology Minor at Quinnipiac University. Simultaneously, I am pursuing an MS in Interactive Media with a focus in Social Media at Quinnipiac University. I aspire to hold a professional presence in the Digital Marketing field. I have spent the past several months interning for a paper company, byTanja, located in the heart of Los Angeles, CA. I was held accountable for the company's media accounts, event correspondence, examining web analytics, and contacting brand partnerships. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my time in the sunshine on the beaches of the Jersey shore. I reside on Long Beach Island, NJ, which is approximately five hours south of Hamden, CT. Once I have arrived in Hamden, one could easily find me holding leadership roles in some of my favorite groups on campus such as: being the Chief Panhellenic Officer of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, acting as the Vice President of Interactive Design Organization, and being a chapter member of American Institute of Graphic Arts Club! Alongside my activities, some of my most notable events include studying abroad in Cork, Ireland during the Spring 2016 semester, earning a recurring presence on Dean's List, and being chosen to attend the Emerging Leaders Institute in June of 2016. A unique fact about me is that my favorite day of the year is one at which I volunteer. For the past seven years, I have participated in the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. My team has raised a combined total of over $86,000.00 towards treatment needed for Special Olympics athletes. My passion for service is something that defines who I am, and I am very proud to continue doing what I love.
